The company has been in operation since 1987. The firm is 100% owned by
Ms. Elin Teichner-Walburn.  It is a woman's business enterprise (WBE) and a small business as defined in 13 C.F.R. sec. 121, Subpart A and a small business in a rural area (SBRA).  The company has five employees. Ms. Teichner-Walburn manages and directs the daily business operations of the company.

In May of 1993 the firm expanded its horizons by merging into Ms. Teichner-Walburn's firm the resources and assets of the construction management firm of Peter V. Walburn, Construction Management Consultant (Ms. Teichner-Walburn's husband).  In 2003 the firm became a limited liability company (LLC).

Teichner-Walburn & Associates, LLC consults to a wide spectrum of commerce in Hawaii's construction industry.  Clients include owners, developers, attorneys, consultants, sureties, educational institutions and material houses.  The firm provides the following specialized services:
